Our Prayer for You!
Dear Partner,
As I write this blog today, my heart is filled with love and gratitude for you. Right now, Charity and I declare these words over both your house and ours...
Will you join us by praying them out loud too? Let's make it our faith declaration:
Lord, You are our Good Shepherd, and we are Your sheep. We listen for, recognize, and follow Your voice. The voice of a stranger we do not follow. You are the Lord our God Who leads, guides, and abundantly provides for us. Thank You for setting us high above all the nations of the earth. We are seated in heavenly places in Christ!
We diligently listen to Your Word, mixing it with faith in our hearts. We yield obediently to the promptings of the Holy Spirit, believing and acting on the words You’ve spoken to us. And all these blessings have come upon us and overtaken us…
We are blessed in the city, and blessed in the field. We are blessed when we’re in town, and we are blessed when we’re out in the country. Wherever we are, You are with us, and we are blessed!
Blessed is the fruit of our womb and the fruit of our ground and the fruit of our cattle, the increase of our herds and the young of our flock, and all our modern-day equivalents. Blessed is our basket and our kneading bowl. Blessed is our kitchen and everything in it, including our refrigerator, freezer, and pantry. We are blessed when we come in, and blessed when we go out. Whether we’re going somewhere or coming home, we are blessed.
The Lord has caused our enemies who rose up against us to be defeated before us. They came out against us one way and flee from before us seven ways. No weapon formed against us prospers, and every tongue that rises against us in judgment, we refute and condemn!
The Lord has commanded His blessing on us in our barns and in all that we undertake. We’re blessed in our closets and our garage, in all our bank accounts and our jobs. He has blessed us in the land that the Lord our God has given us. The Lord has established us as a people holy to Himself, just as He promised He would. In Christ, we gladly keep the Word of God and choose to walk in His ways. All the peoples of the earth see that we are called by the Name of the Lord, and they are afraid of us.
The Lord has made us abound in prosperity, in the fruit of our womb and in the fruit of our livestock and in the fruit of our ground, within the land that the Lord swore to our fathers to give us.
The Lord has opened to us His good treasury, the heavens, to give rain to our land in its season and to bless all the work of our hands. We lend to many nations, but we do not borrow. The Lord is our Jubilee, our Deliverer, and our Faithful Provider. Debt has no power over us, and no place in our lives. By His grace, we’re abundantly supplied with more than enough to give into every good work.
The Lord has made us the head and not the tail. We are above only, not beneath. We go up only, and not down. We increase only, and not decrease. Through God’s Word our heart is established in His grace, and our mind is cleansed and renewed. God’s Word transforms our lives and leads us into His presence and His will.
We do not turn aside from God’s Word. We do not follow a stranger to the right nor to the left. You alone are the Lord our God. As Your beloved, blessed, and highly favored children, we gladly worship, follow, and serve You alone. Hallelujah!
